2009-05-22	Carpathian Forest: Guitarist "Tchort" Quits Band
Guitarist "Tchort" has announced his departure from the Norwegian black metal band Carpathian Forest. He says in a statement, "It's been more than 10 years with perversion and provocation and I have seen, heard and done shit I didn't even know existed and the past decade has been like a rollercoaster from hell! And since I got too addicted to this shit, I can also announce that I am starting a brand new band and I can't wait to see unexplored depths of hell with the new stuff. I am confident that I will find a killer lineup and be back to fuck you up! My deepest respect and grattitude goes to Nattefrost for letting me into his personal hell and keeping me there for a decade!" Carpathian Forest performed at this year's Inferno festival, which was held April 8-11, 2009 in Oslo. Fan-filmed video footage of the cocnert can be viewed below. The band is busy writing the follow-up album to "Fuck You All!!!!" and is currently negotiating with various record labels. "Fuck You All!!!!" entered the Norwegian album chart at position No. 25. 2006-11-20	Malevolent Creation: new album, touring update
The legendary Death Metal band Malevolent Creation has completed the writing and the preproduction demos for 13 songs. The recording sessions of the tenth album will start in the coming weeks of november! The expected title is still "DOOMSDAY X". 2005-06-30	Green Carnation Working On First Acoustic Album
Green Carnation, the Norwegian band featuring Tchort (a.k.a. Terje Vik Schei; Blood Red Throne, ex-Emperor, Satyricon, Einherjer), are currently at Brown Sound Studios working on their first acoustic album, tentatively titled "The Acoustic Verses". The CD will celebrate the band's 15th anniversary and will be released as a limited two-disc edition, featuring lots of exclusive material from the history of the band and its members. The album will be issued later in the year through Sublife Productions, the new label of Tchort and Kjetil Nordhus. Sublife Productions will also work as the management and booking company for Green Carnation, Blood Red Throne and Carpathian Forest. Other releases through Sublife Productions will see the light of day next year. Tchort had the following to say about Sublife Productions: "In addition of the acoustic album featuring only new songs written for the album exclusively and cover songs, We have some releases lined up for next year, that makes us really excited about the whole Sublife thing. Some of these releases will blow people away and set new standards in music, but we also have some very interesting historical documentary coming up on DVD, that we hope to land a deal on." 2003-12-05	Carpathian Forest collection to include demos
Carpathian Forest will release a collection featuring new songs and old demo recordings on April 19th, 2004 through Season Of Mist. The release, entitled "Skjend Hans Lik", features material from the band’s legendary "Bloodlust And Perversion" demo from 1992. Source: BlabberMouth
